I keep getting told that I shouldn’t use a pressure washer to wash the car because it’ll damage or strip the paint.
I tell them I’ve used pressure washers on cars for years and that there are pressure washers aimed at for washing cars but they still won’t have it.
So I just mutter under my breath what a stupid idiot they are and smile and walk away shaking my head as I do.
You’ve just got to remember, you can’t cure stupid.

It would be terrible for business, but technically your grocery store didn’t have to accept cash if they didn’t want to. So the question wasn’t entirely without merrit-- though any reasonable person would be shocked if the answer is no.

With some car dealer advertisements, that is true! It is not unusual for that car advertised as a manual to in fact have 2 pedals and a torque converter.

You should tell them that every hose is technically a pressure washer, and even their kitchen sink is too... because something is being washed and the water is pressured. It just depends on how much pressure is there and how it is being applied, in which case that means there is a “variety” of pressure washing which is right for a car.
